DBT: Distress Tolerance Summer Group

Are you going through challenging times and want to learn practical coping skills to deal with these situations?

Our Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT): Distress Tolerance group is designed to teach adolescents how to deal with difficult situations, learn skills to manage intense emotions, and ultimately become more resilient. DBT is a form of cognitive-behavioural therapy (CBT) that helps teens manage and accept their thoughts, emotions, and behaviours. Participants will learn how to focus their mind on the experiences and sensations taking place here and now, how to accept uncontrollable situations in their life while continuing to make the most out of each day, and develop skills to endure distressing times.
