Elda Almario


All of Elda Almario’s clinical services are currently supervised by Cristina Magrina, M.A., C.Psych.Assoc.

Elda is a Registered Psychotherapist with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario. She is a member of the Ontario Association of Mental Health Professionals and the Canadian Association for Play Therapy. Over the past decade, Elda has worked with children, youth, adults, and families in schools, in the community, and in private practice.

Elda has provided psychotherapy to individuals dealing with a variety of issues including mood and behavioural concerns, trauma, attachment, parenting, and other life transitions. She has a particular interest in play therapy and working with the neurodiverse community (i.e., individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder, ADHD, etc.). Elda embraces the multidisciplinary practice model, which recognizes the importance of everyone who is involved in the circle of care. She believes that clients are experts in their own lives and uses an integrated approach to therapy informed by various therapeutic modalities and the uniqueness of each individual. Her approach to therapy is strength-based, trauma-informed, and person-centered. She offers therapy in English and Tagalog.
