Gil Mazor Goder

All of Gil Mazor Goder’s clinical services are currently supervised by Cristina Magrina, M.A., C.Psych.Assoc.

Gil has a Master of Arts in Art Therapy from The Academic College of Society and the Arts in Israel, as well as a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology from McGill University. She is registered with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario. She has worked with children, adolescents and adults dealing with different life stages and circumstances, including individuals in LGBTQ+ communities. Gil is experienced in working with a wide range of clinical issues including personality disorders, trauma, anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, disordered eating patterns, life crises, career exploration, parenting struggles and relationship challenges.

Gil believes in creating a safe space and an equal therapeutic relationship that will allow individuals to explore their true selves, each one in their own unique way. She offers art therapy, play therapy and talk therapy, and her therapeutic approach is integrative and person-centred. She incorporates concepts from psychodynamic modalities, as well as uses tools from novel approaches such as mindfulness, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy. Gil offers therapy in English and Hebrew.
